The Bowl for Kids’ Sake event, held on May 3, 2014, brought out countless members of the Mid-Maine community to bowl for a better future. At Central Maine Motors, we were overjoyed to be among them and to donate to this worthy organization!
The fundraising event took place at Sparetime Recreation in Waterville, and raised money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine’s mentoring programs. Several events were held across the Mid-Maine area. The events raised a total of $206,000 in support of mentoring programs in the Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Penobscot, Somerset and Waldo Counties. The Kennebec Valley fundraising efforts went particularly well — they exceeded their stretch goals by raising over $80,000!
Central Maine Motors earned the title of Top Fundraising Team, raising $2,344 for the cause. Rob Moore, Sheila Turcotte and Rob Pare, employees of our Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership in Waterville, ME, participated and presented the check at the event.
