These days, it seems like everyone who’s anyone in the automotive world is excited about the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. This vehicle is brimming with sensible features and high-tech perks, and it delivers up to an incredible 80 MPGe in hybrid models, making it the ultimate minivan for the modern-day driver. It’s drummed up a lot of buzz with critics and captured the attention of eager Chrysler fans, and now it has earned high praise from the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association (GAAMA).
GAAMA is an organization with a mission to “further professionalism of the automotive media; provide a forum for newsworthy people and products connected with the automotive industry; and to bring together people whose activities are related to the field of automotive journalism, public relations and related fields for the mutual benefit of all parties.” GAAMA held the Family Car Challenge at the end of May, inviting dozens of journalists to a special event where they critiqued and voted on a large collection of vehicles while test-driving them on scenic routes in the state of Georgia.
The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica minivan earned high praise for its many helpful features, versatile cabin and overall worth. It was honored with two accolades: “Best Family Car” and “Best Value,” beating out 23 other models built by a variety of automakers to nab the award.
“Our members were thoroughly impressed by the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica,” said Christopher Lawrence, GAAMA President and CEO of AutoAcademics, in a release. “It’s a home run for today’s busy families, offering versatility, functionality, technology and an attractive design all in one vehicle.”
